How do I see live rates in my Shopify checkout process? Something about enabling carrier-calculated rates?
Before you install our app, please read and follow Shopify's help article on third-party carrier-calculated rates. It's a feature that is not enabled by default on Shopify stores but can be enabled by a Shopify support representative.
I'm seeing more than two rates in my Shopify checkout. What's going on?
Shopify provides merchants with default shipping options. Additionally, other Shopify Apps can also provide their own shipping options, similar to our app.
Follow Shopify's help article on setting up shipping rates. It will lead you to a screen where you are able to show/hide rates from multiple providers. If you're setting up a new store, we suggest hiding Shopify's rates in favour of only displaying rates from CourierGateway. We've worked hard to secure rates that meet or beat what Shopify can provide.
Adding product weights to your Shopify products results in more accurate shipping rates. If a shopping cart includes unweighted products, we follow Shopify's own policy of setting the product weight to 0.1 lb. Couriers reserve the right to increase shipping costs due to differences in reported versus actual weights: as part of our invoicing process, any difference will be billed to you.
Not sure how much your product weighs? See Shopify's Common Product Weights. Your product weights can be approximate, we simply recommend not leaving the weight as 0 in Shopify.
Once you start working on the platform, you can click 'Order Shipping Supplies' from the main menu, select the courier you need supplies from and we'll have them delivered to you for free.

Once you've joined CourierGateway's platform you will not be restricted to any minimum or maximum volume requirements and you'll still be able to enjoy deep volume discounts... as promised.
Payment information must be provided in order to complete an order. Upon sign up, you will be prompted to enter your credit card details, as we require a valid card on file.

Each courier has its own requirements for same-day pickups and is location dependant. Please see below:
Purolator
Purolator requires a window of approximately 3 hours for pick up. For example, if your company closes at 5 pm, we would recommend booking your shipment no later than 2 pm.
DHL
The latest time you can book a same-day pickup is 12 noon, and DHL requires a window of approximately 2 hours for pickup.
FedEx Ground
Pickup is always the next business day.
FedEx Express
FedEx requires a window of approximately 3 hours for pick up. For example, if your company closes at 5 pm, we would recommend booking your shipment no later than 2 pm.
USPS
Pickup is typically the next business day.
Canpar
For same-day pickup, the order needs to be completed before 12 noon. If the order is made after 12 noon, they will pickup the next business day.
